Emulex Announces Availability of SAN Connectivity Solutions Supporting New Platforms Based on the Dual-Core Intel ® Xeon® Processor 5000 Series
Emulex LightPulse HBAs Complement New Intel 64-bit Computing and Virtualization Technology-Enabled Usage Models For Enterprise Storage Connectivity
COSTA MESA, Calif., May 23, 2006- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX), the most trusted name in storage networking connectivity, announced today the availability of its LightPulse® family of HBAs, including 4Gb/s PCI Express SAN Connectivity for new Intel platforms based on the Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5000 sequence.
Emulex LightPulse HBAs are equipped to fully complement the new dual-core design within 64-bit computing environments, where performance optimization is critical.
